About Me
My name is Kyle Harris and I am the developer of LK Log Scan. I
have been employeed in the IT field for about 14 years and am currently
employed as chief information officer for an Engineering firm in
Tennessee. I am an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) on
Windows 2000 and NT 4.0 as well as A+ Certified and Network+
Certified. I am also a dedicated Linux fan. I like to tell
anyone that asks that I am an IT guy by trade and a programmer by
hobby.
After working in IT trenches for many years, I believe I create my
programs with a little different emphasis than most software
developers. The following items are my prime concerns when I
create a program:
- Program stability (I try to make sure it won't crash mission
critical servers!)
- Ability to accomplish the task at hand with minimal intervention.
- Ease of use WITHOUT unnecessary GUI's which tend to affect
stability and cost.
- Price! All IT departments have tight budgets now
days. All my software is very inexpensive.

P.S.
For those wondering where the name for LK Log Scan came from, I named
it after my little boy. Landon Kyle Harris.
